Learn How to Digitize Your Artwork to Sell on Products and More!
What would it feel like to finally have the skills and confidence you need to digitize and sell your artwork?
Imagine this:
- Imagine seeing your designs on prints, cards, mugs, t-shirt and more.
- Imagine earning income from what you love to do, creating art!
- Imagine selling products and having them drop shipped directly to your customer. No inventory, no shipping, no hassles!
Does this get you excited?
As a watercolor and lettering artist, I thought about selling my artwork, but it seemed overwhelming. Sales tax, inventory, shipping, and how to price my work were just a few of the obstacles I faced.
No One Had the Answers
Even after taking an online course and buying a book for lettering artists on pricing artwork, I still had no clue where to start. The pricing strategies they covered were for lettering artists and calligraphers working in the wedding industry. However, I wanted to know how to price my original artwork and prints.
Thankfully, I learned a simple pricing formula that helped me price my original artwork and prints competitively and consistently.
Digitizing Seemed Too Complicated
Plus, I kept getting requests to sell my designs on prints and greeting cards, but the process seemed too complicated and confusing. I had no idea where to start digitizing my artwork or how to print the products. I was worried I would have to invest a lot of money either in an expensive printer or in buying a lot of inventory upfront before I knew whether or not my designs would sell.
My Step of Faith
However, I finally took a step of faith and entered a watercolor painting in a local art show. Not only did it sell, but I also sold two similar paintings to other clients.
I realized people actually wanted to buy my artwork and decided to take the plunge and decided to learn the process of digitizing and selling my artwork. This has opened up so many opportunities for me to sell my designs on products and to create designs for clients.
With My Digital Designs, I've Created:
- Full color prints - Gold foil prints - Greeting cards - Vinyl stickers - Artwork for book covers - Custom stamps - Logos - Business cards - T-shirts - Pencil Cases - Mugs - And more!
The sky is the limit for what you can create once you learn how to digitize your artwork.
The Best Part?
Along the way, I discovered companies that print my products as I sell them. You might know this as print on demand. However, unlike Society6 or RedBubble, the companies I use will drop ship the products directly to your customers allowing you to create your own brand. You also have the opportunity to earn more profits and avoid the hassles of shipping out products yourself.
By using drop shipping companies, you can confidently create new products without investing hundreds or thousands of dollars in inventory you're not sure will sell. It takes away the financial risk.
Therefore, you can sell more products with less work. Who doesn't love working smarter, not harder?
I Was Amazed!
The first month, I made over $1200 selling my artwork and prints on Etsy. The second month I made over $1100. Prior to this, I didn't even think it was possible to make more than a couple hundreds dollars selling my artwork.
And the crazy part?
Out of the $2300 I earned my first two months, I made $1200 from just three clients.
I learned the importance of valuing my artwork which includes understanding copyright and how to properly license artwork. Learning this one thing, helped me triple my earnings on these three commissioned designs.
I've learned so much through this process and now I want to share everything with you.
